Our expertise and skill set have allowed us to become one of the few exclusive manufacturers globally of unique Grignard compounds such as Vinyl Magnesium Chloride, Isopropyl Magnesium Chloride Lithium Chloride complex, and Ethynyl Magnesium Bromide, among others.
Leadership
Azeocryst Organics was established by Mr. Nandakishor Bhirud as a Private Limited company in 1997 under the able Chairmanship of Late Shri Shridhar Dattatraya Bhirud. Mr Shridhar Bhirud, prior to this responsibilities, spent his whole life serving for Government of Maharashtra and Retired as Comissioner of Food & Administration of Maharashtra. The valuable guidance, support and immense contacts were key factors in successful start and spread of the business.
After the passing of Mr. Shridhar Bhirud on 11th December 2002, Mr. Nandakishor Bhirud took over the leadership of the company. Under his guidance, the organization has continued to flourish, maintaining a harmonious relationship between management and employees-a cornerstone of its enduring stability.
Bringing with him deep expertise in organometallic chemistry, Mr. Nandakishor Bhirud steered the company toward innovation and excellence. Under his leadership, the company became the first in India to commercially manufacture critical Grignard solutions, marking a significant milestone in the country's chemical manufacturing landscape.
What began as a single-product venture in 90's has grown into a leading manufacturer of over 50 specialized Grignard reagents-all developed through in-house expertise and innovation. Staying true to its core focus, the company has continuously expanded its portfolio within the Grignard chemistry domain, reinforcing its position as a trusted specialist in this field.
In 2015, Mr. Mohit Phalak took over the reins of the company, bringing with him a strong foundation in engineering and a vision for innovation. Building on the company's legacy in Grignard chemistry, he introduced new Grignard reagents and optimized synthetic processes, further cementing the company's position on the global chemical map.
Under his leadership, the company successfully overcame the logistical and technical challenges associated with exporting Grignard reagents - highly sensitive and reactive materials and began international shipments of critical Grignard solutions. This marked a significant step in the company's global outreach.
Mr. Mohit Phalak also diversified the company's portfolio by introducing advanced custom synthesis projects and initiating the company's entry into organotin chemistry its first expansion beyond company's core expertise of organomagnesium compounds.
In line with global advancements, the company embarked on exploring cutting-edge technologies such as flow chemistry for the synthesis and application of Grignard reagents. This remains an active area of research and development, showcasing the company's commitment to innovation and future-forward thinking.
